FabFitFun Spring 2019 Box Review

I’m so excited for my first FabFitFun box ever! But you might be wondering…what is FabFitFun? It’s a seasonal, lifestyle subscription box filled with items worth over $200+ dollars. But get this…each box only costs $49.99! You get a box each season (fall, winter, etc..) and you have the choice to sign up for the annual (pay for the entire year in full) or seasonal subscription (pay each season).

HOW IT WORKS: When you sign up for FabFitFun, you will be given a questionnaire based on your interests and what you would prefer to see in your FabFitFun boxes. For example, if you prefer beauty products over jewelry you will see more beauty products in your box. FabFitFun will also have items available for you to choose from based on what you want from the selection they give you! For this box, you have the choice of a floral robe, a diffuser, or a Deux Lux backpack. You are given two more chances to customize with other various items. After you’re done customizing your box, FabFitFun does the rest of the choosing for you. There will be a few items based on your questionnaire answers then the rest are items that each member will receive. If you want to get more in your box, some items will come up as “Add-Ons” and you would just have to pay a small fee for each additional item. Pretty neat, huh?

I signed up for the FabFitFun box because I’ve been meaning to find a subscription box that I can really get into and not get bored of the products over time. I’ve been eyeing the products through their Instagram lately and it got me hooked. I also found out two of my best friends had signed up as well! We all decided on unboxing them together but because we signed up during different parts of February, it affected when it was going to be shipped to us so we all wouldn’t be getting the boxes at the same time. Maybe the next box. 😉

The box packaging is very bright and colorful. Each member will receive the same box design but background colors will vary. Unfortunately mine came with a little slit in the corner, but this is probably due to the handling during shipment.

Here are the items that I got in my spring box:

this robe is perfect for lounging around in the morning!

Show Me Your Mumu robe (Original price $84): Okay, so this was really one of the reasons why I signed up for FabFitFun. How can you NOT say no to this floral robe? It’s perfect for spring time! As soon as I got the box, I immediately put it on. The quality of the robe is superb: soft material, not too thin or bulky, and the print is flawless. I can see myself wearing this robe during many self-care nights!

Quay sunglasses (Original price $55): One of the other customizable options gave you a choice of two Quay sunglasses, a face mask, or a mystery gift. I chose sunglasses since I wanted something chic to wear during spring break. These glasses have a cat-eye accent making the perfect statement accessory.

Ouai leave-in conditioner (Original price $26): Alright so this is probably my second favorite item from the box. This conditioner mist is amazing as it helps soften and detangle hair! It also doubles as a heat protecting spray! I’m definitely going to continue using this product.

Manna Kadar body scrub (Original price $34.95): I’m not into body scrubs all that much but I’m thinking this scrub might be able to change my mind. The jar smells really good and the texture of the scrub is very gentle and not as rough as other body scrubs.

Giadzy copper-plated measuring spoons (Original price $15): I’m a sucker for home goods, especially kitchenware. My husband will try to convince me the measuring spoons we have in our house works just fine buuuuuuut they’re not pretty to look at like these ones! I enjoy baking so I can’t wait to break in these babies.

dr. brandt needles no more No More Baggage eye-depuffing gel (Original price $24.00): Getting older and being an adult = under-eye bags and dark circles! Ugh. Therefore, I am glad that I got this in my box. This eye gel will help reduce the visibility of eye bags and dark circles. In my case, perfect for hiding signs of fatigue.  =)

The 2Bandits Athens necklace (Original price $30): I’ve been loving the bar necklace trend. The stone in the middle is made out of opal and can make any outfit simple, but elegant.

EleVen by Venus jump rope (Original price $15): This jump rope came in time for me to start working on my summer bod! The handles of the jump rope are very firm so it will be easy to grip and won’t slip out of your hands. I can’t wait to test it out!

Overall, I am very pleased with my first ever FabFitFun box. Even though there may be items in the future that I may/may not enjoy as much as I did with the spring box, they are very easy to re-gift. I highly recommend this subscription box to those who want more bang for their buck. You really can’t go wrong with $200 worth of stuff for less than $50.
