Fall Beauty Faves

I haven’t done a beauty faves in so long! I’ll be honest, it was hard to come up with some beauty faves over the summer because the heat waves kept making my hair frizzy and my skin very sweaty. But now that fall is here to stay (for the time being), that means smokey eyeshadows, dark-colored lippies, you name it! Here are some of my current beauty faves:

1. Urban Decay’s Naked Reloaded eyeshadow palette ($49.99)

I’ve always been a fan of Urban Decay’s Naked line. I got my first Naked palette as a gift from my husband years ago and was so excited to start experimenting with different eye shadow colors. The Naked Reloaded palette does not necessarily have the same shades as the original palette but gives more neutral colors to mix and blend.

2. Ouai wave spray ($12.99, travel size)

Hair like mine can’t be tamed. Seriously, I’ve tried. However, I picked up this wave spray from Sephora one day and decided to give this a try since I’m a fan of Ouai. On days when I want my curls to pop, I use a few spritz on the bottom of my hair. Not only does it hold my waves in place but it also smells really refreshing. Unlike other hair sprays, it does not make your head feel heavy.

3. Holika Holika x Peko chan water lip tint ($11.00)

One thing you should (already) know about me: I’m a sucker for cute packaging. And of course when K-Beauty brand announced they were doing a collaboration with the iconic Peko-chan from the Japanese Milky candies, I was ecstatic! I got this tint at my nearest H Mart for $12 and it’s one of the lightest-feeling lip tints I’ve ever had.

4. Glossier lip gloss ($12.00)

I got this when the Glossier pop up store came to Boston. Not only does this lip gloss makes your lips pop and shine but it’s surprisingly moisturizing! My favorite thing to do right now is use my Peko-chan Holika Holika tint and top it off with this gloss.

One of my most recent photo shoots shows me wearing the Glossier x Holika Holika combo.

5. Laneige Water Bank essence moisturizer ($27.00)

Having oily/combo skin can be rough, especially during the winter time. I’ve been getting into Laneige products lately and this moisturizer is very hydrating. I never feel like I’m applying a lot of product to my skin every time I use this because it’s very lightweight. This moisturizer also leaves your skin feeling refreshed and has a cooling after effect.

What are some of your fall beauty faves? Do you prefer the smokey eyeshadow look or do you like to keep it simple with neutrals? And what are some of your favorite fall red lippies? Let me know in the comments below!
