Quarantine Beauty Faves

I’ve been spending most of my time in quarantine playing around with more make up/trying out new skin care products. Being a part of the Ulta Beauty Collective program has really helped me step out of my comfort zone when it comes to using new products and trying out bolder make up looks. I’ve also been trying to step it up with my hair care since I can’t get my hair done! In today’s post, I’ll show you some of my recent beauty faves that have now been a part of my daily routine!

  1. Tarte cosmetics – Maneater collection
Don’t mind the dustings on top of the palette, it’s already been broken into!

Ah yes, perfect packaging for all the cool cats and kittens out there! A big thanks to Tarte cosmetics for sending me these beauties, I’m so in love with this collection! Liquid eyeliner is my eye make up go to and I was so in need of a good liquid liner for a while now. The liner glides so perfectly and I love the how intense the black ink is. I am not gifted with the longest and fullest lashes but the Maneater mascara definitely makes my lashes look fuller and not clumpy like other mascaras. Lastly, the “Confessions of a Maneater” is an eye and cheek palette that has a good collection of pigmented eye shadows and blushes that I immediately fell in love with.

Currently using “Cattitude” for a shimmery highlight and my favorite shadows are “pawsitive” and

2. Lorac – PRO Complexion collection

I’ve been wearing foundation since my late teens so I’ve experimented with different brands and different formulas for years. Some have worked well for my skin and some have made it look incredibly caky. Lorac sent me their PRO Complexion collection to try out and it looks FLAWLESS. My favorites out of the collection is the PRO Glass Skin primer and the Longwear concealer. I’ve never had any luck with coverage when it comes to concealer – it was either too see through or the formula did not work with my skin. Not only is the Longwear concealer long lasting but the coverage is phenomenal! Because the concealer helps so much with coverage, I dab a small amount of the Longwear foundation on my cheekbones and my forehead to top it off. Such a wonderful collection!

3. MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

I’ve already gotten SO MUCH USE out of this lipstick – it’s my current fave lippie that you’ll probably see me wear 95% of the time. Nude lippies are my new favorite thing and I really want to explore with more lippies. I’m also amazed by how matte and sleek this formula is.

4. Ouai – Super Dry Shampoo

You all know I’m obsessed with dry shampoo. Absolutely obsessed. Things have not changed during quarantine! This is my current dry shampoo and I absolutely love the fresh scent and how quickly it absorbs the oils.

5. First Aid Beauty skin care

Finding a skincare routine that is gentle with sensitive skin is absolutely rough. I’ve tried out several brands in the past, all with various results. I’ve had so much luck with First Aid Beauty, I was so happy to try these out when I received them! The face cleanser makes me feel refreshed every time I wash my face! The toner is very hydrating and definitely does not dry out my skin compared to other toners. I use the hydrating serum before using the moisturizer and I’m telling ya….it makes a HUGE difference. I even got my husband to start using the hydrating serum and he loves it!

I’ve used these products in my every day make up look and I’m incredibly happy with some of the looks I’ve come up with while using these products

Big thanks to Ulta Beauty, Tarte Cosmetics, First Aid Beauty, and Lorac for these goodies! I’ve been able to create some wonderful looks with these items. What are some of your current beauty faves? Do you find yourself using more items and branching out to other brands? Let me know in the comments below!
