My Summer 2020 Favorites

This has been an interesting summer so far but despite the off summer we’ve had, it hasn’t stopped me from being able to enjoy things. From skincare to personal faves, being able to explore new things while being at home most of the time has been able to lift up my spirits. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing some of my current faves that I’ve come to know and love this summer!

  1. Anthropologie’s Tiled Margot Monogram Mug

You all know how much I love my monogram stuff and this Inta-worthy mug is hot right now! I’m in love with the quality and the design is one of a kind. You can find the mug in store or online for $12.00, it also goes on sale from time to time! Perfect for your morning coffee/tea.

2. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (w/ SPF 30)

I received this as a gift from Elemis for their launch with Ulta Beauty and I am IN LOVE with it. My mother had told me it was never too late to start using anti-aging cream when I was in my early 20’s and she was not wrong. This cream leaves your skin feeling smoother and more refreshed as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It’s very gentle on all skin types and works well with mine, which is combination/sThe price for this cream does retail at a whopping $128 but it is worth every penny and I’ll be savoring mine for as long as I can!

3. bkr Water Bottle 1L in “Naked”

Not sure if many of you remember but I did have a smaller bkr water bottle that I left in my freezer on accident in an attempt to make my water colder and the glass shattered overnight. I meant to buy another one after that but kept putting it off. When I did purchase a new one, I went for the 1L size in order to increase my water intake. I love the nude pink design and while it isn’t in stock right now, they have a wonderful selection of neutral colored bottles as well as more vibrant colors!

4. quip Electric Toothbrush in “Copper”

I haven’t had an electric toothbrush since childhood and when these first became available in Target, I never thought electric toothbrushes could look so chic. This has become one of my newest favorite gadgets and the vibration isn’t super aggressive while brushing my teeth. I definitely felt a difference in my teeth after the first few uses and at $40, it’s not a bad investment! In addition to the toothbrush, I just started using the Hello brand toothpaste and would highly recommend this as well.

5. “The Wedding Party” by Jasmine Guillory

I’m a sucker for romantic comedies, both in movie form and in book form. “The Wedding Party” was a fun read and really reignited my love for reading. The characters were likable in my opinion and even though it was the typical “boy and girl meet, hate each other, and fall in love” formula, it still sucked me in! Would highly recommend this summer read.

6. OUAI Super Dry Shampoo

One of the best dry shampoos I’ve had in a long time! My hair can be very oily even on the day after a wash and although it’s tempting to let my hair down while in the shower, I know deep down washing my hair every day can be bad. Ouai’s Super Dry shampoo is amazing because it absorbs all the oil and also does not leave any white residue unlike other dry shampoos. And it smells so good! You can purchase Ouai hair products at any Ulta Beauty in store or online!

7. Giorgio Armani “Neo Nude” collection

Big shout out to the Armani Beauty team for gifting their new collection to me! I’ve been a big fan of Armani since high school so you bet I was excited when I got this in the mail. The Neo Nude foundation is perfect for a basic, every day look and does not have a heavy texture nor does it feel drying or caky on your skin. The set also came with the powder compact, ecstasy balm, A-blush, A-highlight, and A-contour. Out of the entire set, the foundation and powder compact are my favorites from the collection!
